Stress management involves a mired of techniques used to control a person’s stress level and improve everyday functioning. There will always be a level of stress however as it becomes overwhelming it can turn in to major problem.
I was trying to be all things to all people…
All the time. I have always been the person that people would come to for help, advice, assistance…lending an ear, talking though situations or whatever was needed. You can count on Ken! What was actually happening is that I was not managing my own stress properly. Taking time out for yourself every day is “detox” is the best way to help others. The rest will come together. I learned this the hard way but I learned it!

Here are a few techniques that can be very useful:

  • Exercise
  • Prayer
  • Meditation
  • Manage sleep routine
  • Take time out for yourself
  • Practice good time management
  • Identify and prioritize the cause of the stress and face it head on (which could be removing yourself from the stressor)!
